Santa Monica is justifiably famous for its beaches, luxury high-rise condos, gorgeous vistas and spectacular sunsets.  Whether your visit here is just hours or much longer, a drive along the coast is something you won’t want to miss!

After Rosie Perez won the big cash prize in the Wesley Snipes/Woody Harrelson basketball saga White Men Can’t Jump, she treated herself to one of these luxury ocean view condos. You could too – a modest one-bedroom can still be bought for under half a million; but if you want a really nice three-bedroom, with parking and of course that million dollar view, you can expect to pay closer to $2 million.

Nearby is Santa Monica High School, location for Rebel Without A Cause, starring James Dean, Natalie Wood and Sal Mineo and where Sean Penn, Charlie Sheen, Robert Downey Jr. and Rob Lowe once attended classes. Among the countless television shows and movies filmed here are Baywatch, Beverly Hills Cops and The Sting.
